Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without the use of metal wires or brackets.

Your custom-made aligners will be made of Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® material. The aligners are virtually invisible, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.

You will need to wear your Invisalign® clear aligners for approximately 22 hours a day for the best results, and take them out only to eat, brush, and floss. At your Initial Exam, Dr. Woods will evaluate whether Invisalign® treatment is the right choice for you.

How much does Invisalign® cost?

After Dr. Woods determines the type of treatment that will be necessary, you will be provided with a financial projection for the cost of treatment. Our staff will personally work with you to customize a payment plan to meet your specific financial needs. Our goal is to always make sure our patients know what to expect before beginning treatment.

Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards and/or HSA payment cards

Insurance: If you have orthodontic insurance that will be covering any portion of your orthodontic treatment, our office staff is happy to help with filing insurance claims and paperwork on your behalf.

What to expect when you visit our Dallas orthodontics office

INITIAL EXAM:

On your first visit to our office, you will have the opportunity to personally discuss your specific orthodontic concerns with Dr. Woods. He will perform a thorough orthodontic exam and determine the best treatment plan to meet your needs. You will be provided with a projected treatment timeline and treatment cost. Payment options will also be discussed at the Initial Exam.

RECORDS APPOINTMENT:

Once you and Dr. Woods have determined that you are ready to begin orthodontic treatment, your next appointment will be orthodontic records. Although you may have had records taken recently with your General Dentist or another dental specialist, it is necessary for us to take our own orthodontic records. These records will consist of a series of radiographs, impressions and facial/intraoral photographs. Dr. Woods will then use these records to more thoroughly study your case and outline a comprehensive treatment plan specific to you and your orthodontic needs.

CONSULTATION:

After Dr. Woods has studied the records thoroughly and determined a treatment plan, we will schedule a consultation appointment with you and Dr. Woods, which will allow him an opportunity to fully explain your customized treatment plan. If you so choose, you can schedule this consultation on the same day as your bonding appointment.

TREATMENT VISITS:

Dr. Woods will want to see you every 4-6 weeks while you are in orthodontic treatment to ensure your treatment timeline stays on track. Our Front Office Manager will work with you to make sure that your appointment times are as convenient as possible. We offer early morning and after-school appointment times.

We also understand that schedules can change at a moment’s notice. If you are ever running late for an appointment or find that you need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
